I was really worried until Thatcher sent a text saying he was on his way home. My nerves were settling, but the howling wind was a reminder of how cold it was out there. My first order of business was taking care of Thatcher.

I went upstairs for clothes and towels and then checked the kitchen cabinets. I was satisfied with my choices and hurried to put on the kettle. I grabbed whiskey from the study. Honey and lemon were mixed in a glass mug while waiting for the kettle to whistle. Boiling water was added with nutmeg and cinnamon. I went light on the cloves and heavy on whiskey. It tasted perfect.

Thatcher was parking in the driveway not a minute later. The plan was to be waiting with his clothes and drink, but we reached the door at the same time. I hurried to unlock it. Thatcher was covered in snow. I eased back to escape the winter cold, locked up, and followed him to the mud room. “Thanks for texting.”

“I didn’t want you worrying,” Thatcher removed his coat, boots, sweatshirt, and thermal shirt underneath.

He discarded his socks and denims. I admired his sculpted chest and abs but felt gratification in its sexiest form. “Thatch, you look great.”

“Thanks,” he traced the waistband of his boxer briefs “I’m giving you fair warning. These are coming off.”

I set the drink on the bench but held onto his clothes, “Okay. I’m prepared, please continue.”

Thatcher yanked down his boxer briefs. Desire hit my core. My eyes lowered in admiration.

“Are you silently judging? Please keep in mind I was in freezing cold temperatures a few minutes ago.”

“Thatch, your size is still impressive.” I stared but held out his cotton pants.

He didn’t waste time pulling on his pants. “Thanks, but you only said it because I’m your boyfriend.”

I offered him the shirt, “I’m being honest. You are ten times better than my fantasies.”

Thatcher smiled, “I’m flattered. Can I have a kiss?”

I gave him a light kiss on his mouth. There was a hint of coolness, but it felt good. I wanted a deep kiss, but that didn’t happen. I quickly ended it, “What’s wrong?”

“I need to wash my hands before I caress your delicate skin. I was touching a shredded tire.”

I smiled, “Hmm, sounds dirty. I’ll wait. Oh, I made you a Hot Toddy,” I bent to get his drink. My pose wasn’t overly sexy but Thatcher groaned. I smiled, knowing he was checking me out.

“Jai, I like your lace panties.”

I glanced over my shoulder. “Thanks, but I won’t be wearing them for long.” I left the mud room before Thatcher could say anything. He was out in a blizzard, so him needing downtime wasn’t a bad thing.

Thatcher washed his hands and joined me. I was thanked with a passionate kiss. He flicked his tongue against mine in a naughty tease, pushing the heat level up more, and bringing out my wild side. Thatcher was doing the most right before he backed off.
